The SPSO laid seven investigation reports before the Scottish Parliament today. Five relate to the health

sector, and two to the local government sector. Their investigation reports form only one part of their work.

In February, they determined 282 complaints, including 44 resolved after detailed consideration.

Each investigationmay contain several complaints, and overall the seven reports laid today:

• Upheld 13 complaints

• Did not uphold 3 complaints

• Made 37 recommendations
